Metaflake – innovative and growing aluminium pigment producer

seeks dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician Aprrentice to join our team!

Position: Industrial Electrician Apprentice
Location: Metaflake Ltd, Anstruther
Type: Full-Time, day shift

Main Duties:

To assist the engineering department and Industrial Electrician with the following, including on the job training:

o To assist the maintenance and smooth running of the production plant.

o To assess all electrical work and suggest improvements.

o To ensure all necessary health and safety rules are followed in connection with all on site electrical work.

o To assist production through the maintenance of equipment and the general smooth running of the plant.

o To assist the design and fitting out of production buildings and the associated electrical equipment installation.

o To develop and assist the design of new equipment working closely with the production engineers.

Required Skills:

· Reliability, punctuality & honesty.

· Fast learning of production procedures and techniques.

· High attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and support as part of an engineering team.
