Full job description

Are you a skilled copywriter and content creator? We have an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Marketing team as a Content Executive, based at our head office in Colwick, Nottingham. This hybrid role means you’ll spend three days a week in our vibrant office, collaborating with our talented team, and two days working from the comfort of your own space.

We’re looking for a Content Executive to join our dynamic Hunter Douglas Content team, reporting to the Content Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the voice of our brands and create compelling content that engages and inspires our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop written and video content for multiple websites, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Create SEO-friendly content that boosts performance and improves user experience.
  • Collaborate with SEO, Web, Design, and Email teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Manage external video production agencies to produce high-quality content.
  • Evaluate content performance and apply insights to future campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A solid understanding of video content and experience managing external agencies.
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different brands.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for interiors.
  • Familiarity with content design, data-driven decision-making, or user stories.
  • Experience in writing is essential.

Why join us?

  • Be part of a collaborative team that values creativity and innovation.
  • Work on exciting projects that shape the future of our brands.
  • Enjoy a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.

You’ll receive many benefits, such as discounted gym memberships, generous staff discount (including family and friends!), healthcare and lifestyle benefits packages, and a fantastic working environment.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our colleagues. If you require any reasonable adjustments to be made for you to attend an interview, please do let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

The interview process will consist of two stages.

Please note that our offices will be closed over the Christmas period. We will review and respond to your enquiry when we return in January.

Everyone that applies will receive a response.
