Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice for Evening & Weekend Work. Church Lane Dental is Open 7 Days a Week & 365 Days a Year for Dental Care & Emergencies.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment, contributing to the overall patient experience and practice efficiency.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations using practice management software
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and redirecting as necessary
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update personal details as required
  • Process payments and organise billing procedures
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Organise correspondence, including emails and post, related to practice administration
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials

Skills

  • Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent practice management systems
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dental terminology is advantageous but not essential

This role is ideal for organised individuals who enjoy working with people and are committed to delivering outstanding service within a busy dental practice.

Pay: £13,360.24-£31,673.41 per year
