Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join us to clean a modern office premises located in the Lewes Road area of Brighton (BN2 3QA area).

You will be working as part of a team but responsible for your own area to clean, guided by our site supervisor. You will follow a clear cleaning schedule, to ensure all sections orf the area you are cleaning are maintained to the highest possible standard.

The fixed working time for this role are 6pm-9:15pm Monday to Friday , making a total of 16 hours 15 minutes per week.

Please note this is initially a three month cover role to cover long term sickness which may extend, with the option of either a permanent role at this location or another nearby vacancy once you prove your reliability and commitment.

You must be able to clean to the highest standard with a great eye to detail, and take pride in your work.

Duties will include the following:

  • Cleaning offices
  • Cleaning kitchen areas
  • Cleaning toilets
  • Mopping floors and vacuuming stair areas
  • Emptying bins

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16.25 per week
