School Cleaner – Preston
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Part-time & Full-time | Term-time only | Monday to Friday

Join Holden Knight Education – Supporting Clean, Safe, and Welcoming Schools

We’re currently recruiting experienced to join our team and work within schools across Preston. As part of the Holden Knight Education agency, you’ll play a vital role in helping maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties across school facilities, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and communal areas
  • Dust, wipe down surfaces, clean windows, and sanitise high-touch areas
  • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and scrub where necessary
  • Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of safely and responsibly
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as required
  • Adhere to health & safety standards at all times
  • Ensure cleanliness is maintained to a high standard throughout the school

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous cleaning experience (particularly in schools or commercial settings) is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and the ability to complete tasks efficiently
  • Physical ability to carry out cleaning duties (including lifting or moving items if needed)
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to follow training and procedures

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
