Who we are

The Angel View Hotel is a small independent family run business comprising of 27 hotel rooms, 3 function/events suites and our bar/restaurant. We are also licensed for marriage and the coordination of weddings will be one of the priorities of the role.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best customer service and upholding the highest standards and our staff work hard to deliver on this.

Are you a passionate, people-focused hospitality professional with a flair for creating unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for an exceptional Hospitality & Events Manager to lead our food, beverage and events operations—with a strong focus on weddings and special occasions—here at the Angel View Hotel.

About the Role

As our Hospitality & Events Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience. You will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the food & beverage operation
  • Lead, support and motivate front-of-house teams
  • Manage all events from enquiry to execution, including weddings, private functions, and corporate events
  • Conduct client show-arounds and deliver seamless event planning
  • Ensure exceptional service standards across all areas
  • Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to maintain quality and profitability
  • Manage rotas, training, stock control, costings and departmental performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships before, during and after events

Weddings & Events Focus

You’ll take ownership of:

  • Wedding show-arounds and consultations
  • Planning timelines, room layouts and event details
  • Coordinating with suppliers and ensuring all legal/venue requirements are met
  • Delivering the big day with professionalism, warmth and an eye for detail
  • Ensuring every couple receives the personal, memorable experience we are known for

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in hospitality management (events/wedding coordination essential)
  • A confident leader with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure with a hands-on approach
  • Guest-focused and passionate about elevating standards
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and event-driven hours
  • Creative, motivated and proud of delivering 5-star experiences
