Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated CCAs Supervisor – Traffic & Event Operations to oversee CCAs assigned to traffic supervision and crowd movement during events. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising frontline staff, ensuring safe traffic flow, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the smooth delivery of event operations.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a safety focused approach, and experience working in fast paced event, traffic, or operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support, and motivate Traffic Marshals assigned to traffic supervision duties
  • Act as the main point of contact for CCAs on shift
  • Ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around event sites
  • Allocate duties and manage staff deployment across traffic zones and access points
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance where required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and traffic management plans
  • Handle incidents, near misses, and public enquiries professionally
  • Liaise with Event Managers, Security, Stewards, Traffic Management teams, and local authorities where required
  • Conduct staff briefings and debriefs before and after events
  • Ensure accurate reporting of incidents, staffing issues, and operational feedback
  • Assist with training and onboarding of CCAs in traffic supervision procedures
  • Maintain a calm and professional approach in high-pressure situations

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous supervisory experience (traffic management, events, stewarding, or operational roles)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good understanding of traffic control and pedestrian management principles
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Knowledge of health & safety and traffic management procedures.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
