Full job description

Kettering Leisure Village is home to the Lighthouse Theatre, Arena Sports and Balance Healthclub. The site hosts a wide range of performances, sporting activities and large-scale events throughout the year, offering an exciting and varied working environment.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Bar & Events Assistant to support the smooth running of events across the site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the setup and derig of events, including moving furniture, equipment and staging
  • Serving drinks and providing a high standard of customer service to guests
  • Carrying out housekeeping and cleaning duties before, during and after events
  • Collecting payments and processing transactions accurately
  • Ensuring all health, safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
  • Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced events environment

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • A positive team player with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
