Administrator

Position: Administrator

Wage: £25,000, Annual Salary Review, Bi-Annual Profit Share.

Location: Tannochside, Uddingston.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.45am-5.15pm

Duration: Permanent

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years administration experience

The Company

BBA Insurance is an independent commercial insurance broker based in Uddingston. Established in 2006, the company provides commercial insurance solutions to businesses throughout Scotland and England.

We offer a complete package of in-house services which include, broking, administration, accounts and claims. We have a host of skilled support staff who provide an unrivalled service to our clients. In June 2021 we solidified our corporate vision when the business became Employee Owned. The BBA Employee Owned Trust owns 51% of the business, ensuring the future of BBA Insurance for years to come. Our staff benefit from this exciting change as it rewards them for their work and commitment to the company. All employees receive a bi-annual dividend bonus payment based on the profits of the company. Bi-annual dividend bonus payments have a tax exemption of £3,600. This means the first £3,600 of bonus is tax free per year to all members.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Administration Department for a hard-working individual with excellent attention to detail.

Duties

· Handling customer calls and requests

· Processing client files; collating, reviewing and despatching policy documents

· Expediting policy documents from underwriters

· Meeting BBA Insurance’s deadlines for getting policy documents to customers

· Meeting BBA Insurance’s deadlines for closing-off client files

· Franking and documenting outgoing mail

· Receiving and distributing incoming mail

· Ordering and managing company stationery

· Filing

· Washing dishes and emptying bins

· Other duties as required by BBA Insurance

Key Skills & Experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Good time management skills

· Able to work under pressure and hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Have effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Good analytical skills

· Good attention to detail

· IT skills
