Xenia Lettings currently let and manage over 1250 properties across England and Scotland, predominantly in the student accommodation sector.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated part-time Lettings & Accommodation Assistant to work across our student accommodation site in Chester.

The successful candidate will report to the Lettings & Accommodation Manager and will assist in the successful running of our student accommodation site. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, solution focused and looking to progress within their career as part of a tight-knit and fast-growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering a warm welcome and exceptional customer service to all residents and visitors.
  • Managing enquiries and applications, converting these into bookings.
  • To carry a landlord-centric mentality, forging trusted relationships and ensuring landlords are communicated with regularly to reassure them their investment is well looked after.
  • Assisting the Lettings & Accommodation Manager in monetising new landlord leads. To complete the necessary administrative tasks involved in property letting, such as referencing, preparing contracts and ID verification.
  • To complete viewings, room inspections, inventories and check-outs as appropriate.
  • To work with the on-site maintenance and housekeeping team(s) to ensure the site is always clean, tidy and well-presented.
  • To assist the Head Office team with any on-site tasks as required.
  • Flexibility in working hours on occasion, it may be necessary to work outside of standard working hours during resident move-in/move-out season.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Resilient, positive and detail orientated.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues.
  • Good time management and prioritising skills with the ability to co-ordinate a complex workload.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a customer service-based role.
  • Experience in a lettings-based role.
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification would be advantageous.
