ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Mobile Cleaning Team Leader to join our team covering multiple sites in Surrey & Sussex.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: £18:00 per hour + company vehicle (you must have a full license and be able to drive a manual vehicle)

Working Hours: 40Hrs per week, 8Hrs per day, 3 Weekdays TBC - 12:00Hrs to 21:00Hrs. Saturday & Sunday - 07:00Hrs to 16:00Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately after successful Vetting (usually takes up to 4 weeks)

Overview of Role:
Make sure that our customers have a better day, every day by ensuring that your assigned areas are clean, presentable and serviceable at all times. Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values. To carry out all duties required in connection with the cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
For this position you will be required to pass police vetting process, that can take up to 4 weeks to complete and is valid for 3 years.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Carry out general cleaning duties as instructed within the premises, these are subject to change
  • To follow custody cleaning rota inline with the contract specification
  • To carry out body spill cleans that are 18inch or smaller inline with infection prevention control training
  • To carry out routine cleaning of trap cells & reporting any issues in relation to client not carrying out their flush through after use
  • To follow instruction of custody sergeant in case of emergency cleaning of cells
  • Have a thorough understanding of site Health and Safety information
  • Read, understand and abide by specific site rules and regulations
  • Adhere to site security rules and procedures, including signing in and out of keys during every shift
  • Handle and use any chemical or solution only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and after reading and fully understanding the appropriate COSHH sheets
  • Respond positively to any reasonable instruction from a Manager, or the client
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop and dry where applicable and directed and ensure that all consumables are replenished and stock levels maintained.
  • Application of appropriate cleaning agents as per type of floor, condition and manufacturers recommendations
  • General, recycle and food waste bins emptied and bin liners replaced and waste removed to designated location
  • Mirrors and glass to be smear free
  • All other areas where accessible dry dusted, cleaned as appropriate and directed
  • Periodic tasks or other tasks as directed by your line manager
  • Report faults, breakages, accidents and or cleaning requirements you think are not to standard
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are clean and tidy and equipment is clean and serviceable at all times
  • Action any easily remedied cleaning tasks outside of your working area (i.e. if you see litter in the corridor \\\"pick it up\\\")
  • Comply with safe working practices, including making appropriate use of warning signage, wear appropriate footwear and other PPE
  • Ensure that assigned duties are carried out in a safe manner and that all Health and Safety legislation is adhered to, particularly the placing of warning signs when attempting any cleaning task that may involve risk to others
  • Completing Company administration in a timely and effective manner
  • Attend meetings and other Company activities as required
  • Ensuring all company property is kept safe and in good condition
  • Any other duty reasonably required by the Company
