Full job description

Libertas is an established domiciliary care provider throughout Lincolnshire. We are the lead provider for home care for Lincolnshire County Council Adult Social Care.

Home care services are offered for people who require support due to illness, disabilities, or infirmity. Libertas takes pride in its employees and its role to deliver the highest standards of care to our service users. We strive to support people who wish to live independently for as long as possible.

The Team Leader role is to ensure that the highest level of care is given our service users and to provide guidance to support workers to improve performance. This means carrying out service user reviews and spot checks where required.

We are looking for a team leader who is forward thinking with a strong knowledge of care and preferably with previous leadership experience. We are very willing to consider people who have limited leadership experience but are driven to learn and develop within the support work sector.

Responsibilities:

· Conducting observations on team members to promote best practice.

· Carrying out reviews for service users to ensure the best possible strengths based support is provided.

· To lead the team of care deliverers.

· To work within safeguarding guidelines, confidentiality and GDPR

· To ensure compliance with CQC guidelines and regulations

· To empower support service users to engage in the care plan promoting best practice outcomes.

What we want from you:

· Must have at least a year’s support worker experience

· Must have your own car/ full driving licence.

· Ideally level 3 qualified in Health and Social Care (or level 2 in Health and Social Care but be willing to work towards level 3)

· Availability to work every other weekend.

· Be available to work 37.5 hours a week between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis.

· A positive and forward-thinking attitude to work.

· Strong problem solving and communication skills.

· This is to cover Mablethorpe, Alford and Louth areas.
