What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in Guildford. As an integral part of our financial planning department, you will be required to business develop and grow new business across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are currently a Financial Planner or Associate Director looking for a step up.

As a Director Financial Planning your responsibilities will include among others:-

  • Enthusiastically build and develop new client relationships through effective ongoing business development
  • Ensure client files are carefully maintained with client details regularly updated where needed
  • To plan, implement and execute the annual Business Plan
  • Take responsibility for supporting the growth of the business, working with the director/partner group on key commercial pillars.
  • To work in partnership with Investment Management (IM) to develop client relationships.
  • Structure and lead client meetings ensuring all information and advice is accurate


Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis Required
  • Ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively. Required
  • A strong ethic of client and customer service Required
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work Required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Hold a relevant level 4 qualification or above (ideally Level 6) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
  • Experience with matrimonial, vulnerable or Personal Injury Clients would be advantageous
  • Experience of developing new business
  • Experience of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
