First Aid Trainer/Assessor
Contract: Zero Hours / Bank
Location: Various Training Venues / Client Sites

Candidates must currently hold the independent right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship. No agencies.

We are seeking an experienced and engaging First Aid Trainer/Assessor to deliver high-quality first aid training to individuals and organisations. You will provide accredited first aid courses, assess competency, maintain training standards, and ensure all content is delivered in line with current regulations and best practice.

Northwind Healthcare are a healthcare training provider based in Aberdeen. We provide First Aid Training that is grounded in clinical experience and delivered with the same care and professionalism that guide our nursing services. Our goal is to help workplaces, community groups, care environments, and public settings build the confidence and knowledge needed to respond calmly and safely when someone requires help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first aid training courses (e.g., Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, CPR/AED).
  • Assess learner competence and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure training materials, equipment, and records meet regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid guidance and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching/training qualification (e.g., PTLLS/AET, CET) or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Experience delivering first aid training and assessing learners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and right to work in the UK.
