Full job description

The Role:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-driven Junior Designer to join our team. This role suits someone with a strong foundation in the Adobe Creative Suite and an eagerness to grow their skills across digital, print, and catalogue design. You’ll support the creation of high-quality marketing materials, help maintain brand consistency, and contribute to a wide range of design projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and adapt design assets across print and digital channels.
  • Build and update catalogues using EasyCatalog within Adobe InDesign.
  • Produce web-ready content including banners, promotional graphics, email assets, and social media visuals.
  • Support product layout, image preparation, and artwork updates for catalogues, brochures, and internal documents.
  • Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure design output meets brand standards.
  • Maintain organised design files, templates, and asset libraries.
  • Use Excel to manage data used for catalogue building, product tables, and design workflows.
  • Assist with daily creative tasks, from quick edits to cross-team design requests.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to produce print-ready artwork with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience creating digital assets such as web banners and social content.
  • Basic familiarity with EasyCatalog or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable working with Excel, including handling structured data for catalogue production.
  • Strong typographic awareness and understanding of layout, colour, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Candidate must live locally to the ML postcode or be able to travel. This is an onsite role.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience using Canva for quick-turnaround content.
  • Some exposure to SQL (not essential).
  • Basic understanding of HTML or web-optimisation principles.
  • Experience preparing assets for e-commerce platforms.

Personal Qualities

  • Eager to learn and grow within a creative team.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Collaborative but able to manage your own workload independently.
  • Takes pride in producing clean, accurate, professional work.

#Interviews for this role will not be until Jan 2026.
