Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided to support your success in the position. Driving licence preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet or window cleaning
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning needs
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills in English to facilitate clear interactions with clients and team members
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between sites
