Pay: £17.00–£23.00 per hour CIS

Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our growing team on a CIS basis, with the opportunity to move onto the books for the right person. This role is suited to a reliable, skilled tradesperson with strong experience in both first and second fix joinery, who takes pride in high-quality workmanship.

You will be working across a range of residential projects, including extensions, refurbishments and kitchen installations, delivering work to a high standard and in line with client expectations.

Key duties

  • Carrying out first fix joinery including stud walls, floors, ceilings and door linings
  • Completing second fix work such as doors, skirtings, architraves and kitchens
  • Working on residential extensions, renovations and fit-outs
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and plans
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
  • Working independently or as part of a team as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Joiner
  • Confident in both first and second fix joinery
  • Strong knowledge of materials, methods and best practice
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
  • Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • Own transport preferred but not essential
