We’re Hiring: Housekeeping Team Leader

We are now looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team. This is a chance to play a vital role in upholding the impeccable standards and warm welcome that Gretna Green is famous for.

Locations: Gretna Green Hotels

Hours: 32 Hours | Across 5 days, including weekends & holidays

Pay: £13.61 hourly

About the Role

As a housekeeping Team Leader, you will lead our team to create the spotless and welcoming environments that our guests remember. You’ll be responsible for inspiring your team, upholding our highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and ensuring every room is perfectly prepared. Your leadership will be key to delivering the exceptional experience that Gretna Green is famous for.

Main Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

- Support the training of new team members on our procedures and luxury standards.

Quality & Standards Assurance

- Uphold and enforce all health and safety regulations, including COSHH.

- Conduct detailed room and area inspections to ensure all spaces meet our cleanliness and presentation standards.

- Manage stock control for linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.

Guest Experience & Service

- Address any guest concerns related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.

Operational & Administrative Support

- Report maintenance issues promptly to the maintenance team to ensure swift resolutions.

- Manage administrative tasks such as updating room statuses, logging lost property, and completing checklists.

- Liaise closely with the front office team to coordinate room turnover and priorities.
