Lecturer in Games Design (on-site)

Salary range of £30,000 to £44,000 per annum, pro rata*

14 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Working 14 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, this equates to a salary range of £12,000 to £17,600 per annum.

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Games Design, including games development and concept, to teach on all courses across all levels in Creative Media Production area. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units. An ability to teach a wide range of design focused games design skills, including strong knowledge of programming. The candidate should also have experience with development in unity and Unreal Engines specialising in one or the other. Experience in design specialising in 3d modelling, texturing and game design theory.

You should have a Degree in a games-related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement and a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above. You may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet UAL awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.
