Garden Designer – Creative Gardens and Driveways Ltd (Cheshire)
Location: Primarily home-based, with site visits across Cheshire and the North West
Employment Type: Flexible – 4 or 5 days per week

Creative Gardens and Driveways are looking for an experienced Garden Designer to join our dynamic and friendly team based in Cheshire. This unique role offers the best of both worlds – the stability and support of being part of an established company, combined with the freedom and flexibility typically associated with self-employment.

Role Overview

  • Location: Home-based with regular site visits across the North West
  • Schedule: Commitment to at least 4 days per week
  • Type: Long-term, year-round role
  • Workspace: Must have a dedicated home office

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their vision and define clear design briefs
  • Create both inspiring concept designs and detailed technical plans
  • Produce planting plans
  • Undertake site surveys and assessments
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and Operations Director to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high-end domestic garden design and landscaping
  • Strong CAD skills (ideally Vectorworks)
  • Solid horticultural knowledge and planting design experience
  • Understanding of construction detailing and landscape materials
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
