Garden Centre Assistant – Full Time & Part Time

Looking for a role within a local, award-winning family business? Join the Caulders Team!

Caulders Garden Centre in Erskine is looking for enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistants to join our team on both full-time and part-time contracts.

If you enjoy working outdoors, providing excellent customer service and being part of a friendly team, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service within our plant area
  • Help customers choose the right plants and gardening products
  • Stock, water and maintain plant displays to a high standard
  • Assist with general housekeeping and keeping the centre looking its best
  • Load and deliver customer purchases, including garden furniture, compost and other bulky items
  • Carry out deliveries when required
  • Safely lift and move heavy products throughout the centre
  • Support the wider team with day-to-day tasks as required

What You'll Need:

  • Previous experience in a garden centre, horticultural or outdoor working environment is desirable
  • A positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • The ability to carry out manual handling and physical tasks
  • A flexible approach to work, including weekend availability to meet seasonal demands
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, as customer deliveries may be required
