Full job description

We are on a mission to become the leading supplier of laundrettes for communal living spaces in the UK and beyond. The smart bit about us is very simple – we put our customers at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to quality, sustainability and our people. Which includes things like working with you to help your work fit around your life and providing you with the training and development you need.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, covering one of our core regions around Derby, Nottingham and Leicester and, you’ll be the face of our business in the field. Communicating with everyone across the Operations and User Experience teams, you’ll be helping to keep our machines running and our clients and customers happy. You’ll be visiting client sites and undertaking regular and preventative maintenance and, of course, emergency calls on the occasions when things do go wrong.

So, if you’re a great communicator and committed to outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you. You’ll be passionate about what you do, and be able to work confidently, using your initiative to help us improve our processes and find new and better ways of doing things. You'll have the physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing or lying at floor level, and other activities necessary to perform the role's duties. You’ll take ownership of the whole service cycle for your given region and be happy working independently.

You will have an engineering background, and may already be competent in electrical work / gas or plumbing. Alternatively, you may be looking for a career change and want to learn a new trade? So, If you’re a great team player and love a new challenge this may be your opportunity to join a great team of people dedicated to providing the best service possible in our sector.

Please note that as we work in the Higher Education sector, we require all engineers to be DBS cleared.
