What we expect
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Commercial team based in the Nottingham head office, reporting to the Head of Commercial.
As a Contracts Manager your day to day will include:
- Document management and organisation
- Contract management for service and project contracts, including project bookings – (document/information finalisation and management, programme of works, credit checks, company T&C’s vs customer T&C’s, liaising with financial and Operational teams)
- Review, negotiation and agreement of Terms and Conditions’
- Reviewing, negotiating and supporting finalisation of general legal and contractual documents
- Issuing of contract and project notices
- Supporting Operations in addressing site issues, claims and disputes
- Reviewing and agreeing Final Accounts
- Supporting with Debt Collection
- Supporting change orders and variation requests
- Management of upstream approvals
Who we are looking for
- Ideally, 3 years or more experience in a Quantity Surveying or similar Legal/Contractual capacity
- A minimum of a HNC in a relevant field
- Be a confident negotiator, with strong contract management skills
- Professional, motivated and looking to forge a career in a global leading company
- Strong skills using MS Office, databases, and eProcurement systems
- Consistently works to deadlines
- Strong organisational and people skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly motivated, reliable and hardworking
