Job Title: Lead Practice Nurse

Rate: £47K - £49K
Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered
Location: Taunton

Contract Type: Permanent

Are you an experienced and compassionate nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a dynamic Practice Nurse to join and lead our progressive and patient-focused team in Taunton and the surrounding practices within the PCN.

As we continue to develop our services, we are looking for a dedicated Practice Nurse to lead our team and contribute to the ongoing health and wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD) - desirable

  • Cervical screening
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Travel health advice and vaccinations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Contraceptive services and sexual health advice
  • Health promotion and lifestyle advice
  • Support with QOF and other practice-led clinical audits
  • Home visits
