Mansfield Park Surgery is a dedicated healthcare provider specialising in primary care services as a GP Surgery, committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered medical care.
Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist/Patient Advisor to join our team at Mansfield Park Surgery. This role is vital in ensuring smooth patient interactions, managing appointments, and supporting our healthcare professionals in providing excellent care.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression, either via the telephone or at the Front Desk

  • Manage patient appointments efficiently using our clinical system - Emis Web.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with NHS regulations.
  • Assist patients with queries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed, using Emis Web & Docman.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-organized.
  • Process patient administration

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a medical receptionist or patient service representative.
  • Strong knowledge of Emis Web & Docman
  • Familiarity with medical coding and administration
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
