Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate individuals, and a genuine interest in fostering a positive sporting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
  • Educate cricketers on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that each athlete receives appropriate guidance and support.
  • Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among athletes.
  • Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all athletes.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote overall programme success.
  • The role will be a 60% coaching and 40% business development and administration.
  • You will need to be available to work weekends during term time.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of the relevant sport's techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and inspire athletes effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, events, and athlete progress.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a supportive environment for athletes.
  • A passion for sports and commitment to athlete development is essential.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
