You may already be passionate about software, technology, data or finance. What matters most is your curiosity, analytical mindset and willingness to develop expertise in new areas.

Our products are used within the financial services industry so as a Product Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products work as intended, meet customer requirements and continue to evolve in response to business needs.

If you are interested in technology, we'll help you learn the finance side. If you are interested in finance, we'll help you understand the technology. Either way, you'll be working at the heart of both.

  • Investigate issues and work with users and developers to understand and resolve problems.
  • Analyse business and product requirements.
  • Help define and validate new product features.
  • Document requirements, processes and system behaviour.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our clients.
  • Develop knowledge of both our products and the financial markets they serve.

What We're Looking For

The two most important qualities for this role are:

Exceptional Attention to Detail - You take pride in accuracy; notice things others miss and enjoy getting to the root cause of problems.

Ability and Desire to Learn - You enjoy tackling new concepts and are motivated to build expertise in both technology and finance.

In addition, you'll ideally have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A methodical and organised approach to work.
  • An inquisitive mindset and willingness to ask questions.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

We expect applicants to have an honours degree in a relevant subject e.g. Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Mathematics.

Applicants from other degree backgrounds will also be considered if they can demonstrate strong analytical ability and enthusiasm for the role.

Desirable Skills

These are useful but not required:

  • Software development experience (through projects, placements, internships, or personal work).
  • Experience working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Interest in financial markets or financial technology.
  • Experience gathering or analysing requirements.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

The strongest candidates will be graduates who:

  • Enjoy understanding how things work.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Love learning new concepts.
  • Are interested in software, finance or both.
  • Want to build a career where technology and business come together.

Company Benefits:

  • A competitive annual salary with annual reviews.
  • 31 days of holiday, with additional holiday entitlement accrued for each year of service.
  • Enhanced employer pension contributions.
  • Company bonus incentive scheme.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • Support and funding for professional qualifications.
  • Birthday Leave.
  • Cycle to work / Tech Scheme.
  • City centre Edinburgh office location.
  • Regular social events.

To apply, please send your CV along with a short covering letter explaining why the role interests you and what attracts you to technology, finance or both.
