Schools are changing rapidly

Every day, school leaders are faced with more information, more policy, more pressure and more decisions.

The challenge isn't seeing everything.

It's knowing what matters.

We believe the best solutions are developed with schools, not for schools. The Research Panel exists to help identify the signals that matter most from staff in schools—and turn them into practical action for schools.

Join The Research Panel and help to create and scale innovation across education

An independent panel of 100 education professionals helping identify the most important changes affecting schools over the next five years—and the practical solutions leaders need to respond.

Why The Research Panel?

Schools are changing faster than ever.

Leaders are navigating increasing complexity around workforce, recruitment, SEND, behaviour, attendance, artificial intelligence, curriculum and the changing expectations of young people and families.

Every day, school leaders make decisions with limited time, increasing pressure and incomplete information.

The Research Panel exists to change that.

Our purpose is simple.

To identify what is changing in schools and develop practical solutions that help leaders act with confidence.

We believe the best solutions are developed with schools, not for schools.

What does membership involve?

As a Member you may be invited to:

  • Complete one short online survey each month (approximately five minutes)
  • Participate in occasional online discussions or focus groups
  • Review new frameworks, research and practical tools before publication
  • Share your perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing schools

You choose when and how you contribute.

Who are we looking for?

Applications are invited from professionals working in schools across England, including:

  • MAT CEOs
  • Headteachers
  • Deputy and Assistant Headteachers
  • School Business Leaders
  • SENDCOs
  • Careers Leaders
  • Primary Teachers
  • Secondary Teachers (English, Mathematics and Science)

Our aim is to create a balanced panel representing different phases, regions, school types and experiences.

What will you receive? (Founding Members)

As a Founding Member you'll receive:

  • Early access to research findings
  • Copies of published insight reports
  • Invitations to online panel discussions
  • Opportunities to influence practical tools and products before publication
  • Recognition as a Founding Member of The Research Panel

Will I be paid?

· Yes.

· We believe teachers' time and expertise have value.

· When we ask you to contribute to research activities, we'll pay you fairly for your time.

· We're not pretending this is life-changing money.

· It's simply our way of saying that professional expertise deserves professional recognition.

Pay: £200.00-£600.00 per year
