Help Shape the Future of Renewable Energy Through Creativity

  • Salary: £27,000 annually (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Location: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in our Cardiff office, with additional office attendance depending on business needs)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

At City Energy Group, we're on an exciting journey of growth, innovation and transformation. As we continue to expand our portfolio of renewable energy, home and business improvement brands, we're looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to help bring our brands to life.

This is more than a design role. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple brands, creating impactful campaigns that inspire customers, support the UK's journey to Net Zero, and help shape the future of sustainable living.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our growing Marketing team, you'll work on a wide variety of creative projects across digital and print, including:

  • Designing engaging marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery
  • Creating eye-catching graphics for social media, websites, email campaigns and advertising
  • Producing compelling video content for digital platforms
  • Designing brochures, leaflets, exhibition materials and other printed collateral
  • Supporting lead generation campaigns with high-converting creative assets
  • Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to bring new ideas to life
  • Maintaining strong brand consistency across multiple businesses within the Group
  • Keeping up to date with the latest design, digital marketing and advertising trends

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines creativity with commercial thinking and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Graphic Design or a related discipline
  • Around 1 year graphic design experience (portfolio required)
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Strong typography, layout and branding skills
  • Experience creating content for social media and digital advertising
  • Video editing skills and experience producing engaging digital content
  • Experience with web design (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A positive attitude, creative mindset and willingness to learn
