Poppy Signs Ltd is a Chorley based company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range of signs and graphics both locally and nationwide.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Signage Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day installation activities, support team members on site, and ensure high-quality delivery across all signage and vinyl projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of signage/vinyl application, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to lead from the front.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a small team of installers across a range of signage and vinyl projects.

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Act as the main point of contact on-site, making decisions and providing direction where needed.

Ensure Health & Safety procedures, RAMS, and quality standards are followed at all times.

Assist with planning workloads, organising materials, and preparing for upcoming jobs.

Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Carry out signage installation, vinyl application, and related tasks when required.

Liaise with management and clients to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.

Complete job sheets, reports, and photographic records accurately.

Key Skills & Attributes

Proven experience within the signage and/or vinyl industry.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Confident decision maker, able to take charge and "pull rank" when necessary.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organised, able to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.

Understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

Additional Information

Some work away will be required depending on project locations.

Weekend work is extremely rare and never mandatory.

Full driving licence essential

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
