Full job description

We are looking for a someone to join our Grounds and Maintenance Team at Elmore court.

The work will be physical at times, so we are looking for someone who is strong and fit. The candidate needs to be friendly, polite, and respectful as you may encounter our guests. There will be some lone working as well as with our grounds and maintenance team so time management and ability to work well with others is a must.

The duties are wide ranging but not limited to; resetting the wedding grounds back to their usual pristine condition after events, working within the team using machinery to restock our wood chip supplies for the two biomass boilers we have on the estate and seasonal works around the grounds like grass cutting and strimming. These duties are shared within the team so good sense of humour and ability to work outside is key.

Ideally applicants need to have experience in this kind of thing and understand how to operate and use large machinery such as tractors and mowers as well as the various tools that the work will require.

A valid UK driving licence is a must.

The working days are Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm
