Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Drainage Ganger to oversee and execute drainage installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.

FIT Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Drainage Ganger for a long-term civil engineering project in Peterhead.

You will be responsible for leading a small gang carrying out deep drainage and associated civil engineering works, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties:

- Leading a drainage gang on site.
- Installing foul and surface water drainage.
- Laying concrete and plastic pipework.
- Constructing manholes and chambers.
- Reading drawings and setting work out from plans where required.
- Coordinating plant and labour on site.
- Maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Liaising with site management to ensure work is completed to programme.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Drainage Ganger or Civils Ganger.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- CPCS/NPORS plant tickets beneficial.
- Confined Spaces ticket advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Ability to lead a team and work from engineering drawings.
