Overview
We are seeking an experienced SSSTS Groundworks Supervisor to oversee and manage groundworks operations on site. This is a self-employed position, requiring CIS registration, with responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Work is local as well as nation wide

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise groundworks teams and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate daily site activities, including plant, labour, and materials.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
  • Monitor progress and report to site/project management.
  • Maintain quality control and resolve any site issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Proven experience in groundworks supervision.
  • CIS registered and eligible to work on a self-employed basis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret site drawings.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • Machine tickets prefered
