Full job description

We are looking for a skilled Head Chef to lead a team to prepare delicious meals according to our menu at Briskit Ltd.

The goal is to achieve customer satisfaction so that we can expand our clientele rapidly.

Being the newest & most instagrammable cafe in Norwich, we are looking for someone who has the vavavoom!

Your duties will include but are not subject to;

  • Set up the kitchen
  • Study each recipe and order
  • Control stock
  • Cook food in a timely manner
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation
  • Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy, customise for allergies)
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Ensure the presentation will be Instagram worthy.

We are looking for people who possess the following qualities;

  • Good worthy know-how in cooking
  • Knowledge in brisket/smoked meats will be an advantage
  • Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work in shifts

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Culinary school certificate preferred.
  • Experience preparing & making a wide variety of dishes.
  • At least 1 year previous work experience as a Chef or Cook.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
