Posting a job directly on Indeed

Job posts on Indeed allow employers to advertise their open positions to a wide audience of potential applicants. When you post a job on Indeed, it becomes visible to jobseekers, who can then apply for the role. This article explains how to post a job and what to do if issues arise.

How to post a job directly on Indeed

Sign up for an employer account or sign in to your existing account.
Navigate to your Employer Dashboard.
Select Jobs from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click or tap Post a job in the top right of the screen.

Posting a remote or hybrid job

Use the Job location type when posting your job to let applicants know where they will work. Choose from the following options depending on your needs:

in-person
fully remote: no on-site work required
hybrid: some on-site work required
on the road

Sponsoring your job

Sponsor your job to show up more often in search results. This makes it easier for jobseekers to apply.

Technical support

Issue: I can't see my job post or the status is 'Pending'.

Solution: after you post a job, our Trust & Safety team will review it. Until then, your job won't appear in search results. Once it’s approved, you’ll receive a job post confirmation email. Make sure emails from do-not-reply@indeed.com aren't going to your junk or spam folder.

Issue: my job says 'Flagged' and isn't visible to jobseekers.

Solution: review the My job is not shown on Indeed article for reasons why a job post might not show up in search results.
