Accessing your Billing and Invoice Details

This article is about the Billing and invoices page on your employer account. Learn what you can do in Billing and invoices, how invoices are created and what you'll find in the transaction history column. We'll also explain how to get started, find and download invoices and update your billing details. Take a look at the FAQs below if you have questions about the taxes applied to Indeed's products, and what to do if you're tax-exempt.

Only users with billing permissions can access the Billing and invoices page. Learn more in Adding users and Setting Access levels.

About the Billing and invoices page

What you can do

  • Update billing contacts and payment methods
  • Access and download invoices
  • Track outstanding balances
  • Get a summary of charges
  • Manage insertion orders, if applicable
Contact Indeed support if you get an error while fetching data.

Invoice availability

  • Invoices for the previous billing period are available within the first few days of each month.
  • Each invoice is created once per billing cycle.
  • Invoices can't be changed after they're issued.

Date

The invoice date

Activity

The transaction type:

  • Invoice
  • Invoice adjustment
  • Payment
  • Refund

Product/Service

The product or service charged

Amount (currency)

The transaction amount:

  • Red: Invoice and Refund
  • Black: Payment and Invoice adjustment

Itemised report

Getting started

  1. Sign in to your Indeed account.
  2. Click or tap your email address in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select Billing and invoices from the menu.

Finding and downloading invoices

Search for your invoices

  1. Go to the Billing and invoices page.
  2. Select the Summary tab
  3. Scroll to Transaction history.
  4. Under Invoices, you'll find a list of invoices by month.

Filter transactions

Use the filters to sort by date or activity type:

  • Payments show payments and invoice adjustments
  • Invoices show invoices and refunds

Download your invoice

  1. Click or tap the invoice link in the Activity column.
  2. The PDF will include:
    1. Invoice number and date
    2. Due date
    3. Description or memo
    4. Amount
    5. Applicable products, taxes, promotions and discounts

Editing your billing details

  1. Go to the Billing and invoices page.
  2. Select the Information tab.
  3. Click or tap Edit next to:
    1. Billing contact
    2. Billing information
    3. Payment method
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Click or tap Update.

FAQs

Question: Can I make changes to my last invoice?

Answer: No. Invoices can't be updated once they're issued. Edits to your billing details will apply to future invoices.

Question: The calculated taxes look wrong. Can I fix this?

Answer: Yes. Taxes are based on your billing details. Please check that your billing address is correct. Updates will apply to future invoices.

Question: I have tax questions during an audit. Can you help?

Answer: Yes. Email salestax@indeed.com for help.

Question: I'm tax-exempt. Do I need to take any action?

Answer: Yes. Send a copy of your exemption certificate to salestax@indeed.com.
