Claiming Your Company Page

Who this article is for
Available to Admin

Company Pages on Indeed help job seekers learn about your business. They show details like your mission, values and open roles. If you post a job on Indeed, Indeed will automatically create a Company Page and link it to your job. But, to manage that page, you need to claim it. In this article, we'll explain what you need to claim your page and show you how to do it.

Note: If an employer account at your company has already claimed a Company Page, you may need to request edit access instead of submitting a new claim.

Requirements to claim a Company Page

To claim a Company Page, you need:

  • to be the owner of an Indeed employer account,

  • a Company Page that has not been claimed.

Not sure if you're the account holder? Please refer to our article on how to find an Indeed account admin.

What to do if the Company Page is already claimed

Sometimes, you may need to claim a Company Page that's already been claimed. This can happen if:

  • You're an agency and your client won't give you access through their account

  • Your company claimed the page under the wrong employer account and needs to switch it (such as for billing).

Requirements to claim a Company Page

Step 1: Find your Company Page

  1. Sign in to your employer account.

  2. Click or tap your email in the top-right-hand side of your dashboard.

  3. Select Company Page.

  4. Enter your company name in the search bar.

  5. Click or tap Find companies.

Trouble with Step 3?

If the Company Page link doesn't work, go to Indeed for jobseekers and open the Company reviews tab to search for your company.

Step 2: Claim your page

  1. Choose your company name to open the Company Page.

  2. Click or tap the blue Claim this Company Page button.

  3. On the next page, select Claim.

Note: You can claim more than one unclaimed Company Page.

Step 3: Wait for verification

After you submit your claim, we'll review it to confirm your connection to the company. We may verify your claim by:

  • Matching your email domain with the company's website domain (example: yourname@abc.com matches abc.com).

  • Searching online for links between you and the company, such as social media profiles.

  • Checking if you're listed on the company's website, such as on a team or staff page.

Once verified, you'll receive a confirmation email. This process usually takes 24 to 48 working hours.

Troubleshooting

Issue: I can't claim my Company Page

Solution: Check if the page is already claimed.

If the Company Page is already claimed:

  1. Confirm with your Indeed account admin that your company has claimed the Company Page.

  2. Ask them to give you Edit Company Page access.

If your admin has not claimed the page, contact us for help.

Solution: Make sure you're the primary account owner

If the page is unclaimed:

  • You must be the primary owner of your employer account to submit a claim.

  • If you were added to the account by someone else, you won’t be able to claim the page.

Tip:

If you were invited to join the account, check your email and complete the sign-up process. Once you finish setting your account up, you'll receive the correct permissions.
