Indeed's Email Policy

Indeed’s email system can only be used to talk to jobseekers who applied for your jobs. If you misuse the system, Indeed may remove your jobs or limit your access to it.

Why this policy exists

When you post a job, you can use our email system to reply to people who apply. This tool is meant only for communicating with jobseekers about the job they applied for. We will take action if the email system is used for other reasons.

Here are some examples of misuse:

  • Asking a jobseeker to apply for the same job again on a different website.

  • Sending spam to jobseekers about other, unrelated jobs.

  • Scammers contacting jobseekers to get private information.

Using the email system in the wrong way hurts a jobseeker’s trust and can put them in danger. We must control our email system to protect jobseekers from bad actors.

This policy applies everywhere. If you do not follow it, your jobs will not be visible on Indeed.
