Sharing candidate information using Smart Sourcing

If you have a Professional Smart Sourcing plan, you can work with your team. You do this by sharing Projects in your Indeed account. Projects help you keep candidates organised by job title or location.

You can invite teammates to look at CVs, activity and status updates. This helps your team work better and makes recruitment easier. Teammates do not need a subscription to see this information.

This article is for employers and recruiters using Indeed's Smart Sourcing tool who want to collaborate on recruitment with their team.

Who can access shared projects?

Professional plan users

  • Can create and share projects

  • Can invite teammates to work together

  • Can find candidates with you in the same project

Standard plan users

  • Can only find candidates on their own

  • Cannot work with others on shared projects

  • To join a project, they must get a Professional plan or be unassigned from their Standard plan

What information is shared?

When you share a project, teammates can see:

  • CVs

  • Outreach activity

  • Status

  • Experience and interview notes

only the person who first contacted a candidate can see their contact information. This information is only shared if the candidate replies and shows interest.
