Class 2 HGV Driver – Southampton
£17.79 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm

We're currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm position based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to secure a permanent role with a well-established company.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £17.79 per hour
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Position: Temp to Perm
  • Start Time: 5:00am
  • Average Shift: 10 hours

The Role:

  • Multi-drop deliveries to stores
  • Delivering chilled and frozen goods.
  • Using cages and a powered pump truck to unload deliveries.
  • Some deliveries can be physically demanding, with heavy cages to manoeuvre.
  • Deliveries are often to tight locations, so confidence in reversing is essential.
  • Driving a Class 2

Requirements:

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
