Hours of work: 17:00 – 05.30 - 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Sunday/Monday/Tuesday Night
Location: James Hall & Co. Ltd, SPAR Distribution Centre Preston
Salary: £18.44 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Transport team at our distribution centre based in Preston.

What will I be doing?

• To organise and move vehicles/trailers around the yard
• Position trailers onto the bay for loading/unloading
• Complete regular temperature checks throughout the night
• Maintain communication with the transport office
• Occasional requirement to potentially drive on the road as and when needed
• To work in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow all health and safety procedures

A Few Things About You

• Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
• To be a good team player with the drive to meet daily productivity targets
• Enjoys physical work
• Must hold a valid Class 1 HGV license
• Hold a valid driver CPC qualification
• Hold a valid Tachograph card
