HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – Trunking & Refrigerated RDC Deliveries, Weekly Pay, Permanent Role

Shift patterns and start time windows available:

  • 4 on 4 off - 18:00 starts

Rates:

Monday to Friday - £16.76 per hour

Saturday - £17.43 per hour

Sunday - £18.13 per hour

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - working for Romac Logistics.
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Weekly pay
Location: Bradford - Various routes across the UK – trunking between depots and RDCs

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles – trunking between depots and Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
  • Operate refrigerated trailers, ensuring product integrity and on-time delivery
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork and digital logs
  • Comply with UK driving regulations and the Working Time Directive
  • Keep your vehicle clean and presentable (some self-tipping required)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
  • Strong work ethic, timekeeping, and reliability
  • Experience with refrigerated or RDC work is an advantage
