VF Foods Ltd. is a leading supplier of frozen, chilled and ambient goods to the food service sector throughout Northern and Southern Ireland.

We are dedicated to providing our customers in the healthcare, education, takeaway and retail sectors with a professional and reliable service.

VF Foods Ltd. is a family owned business with head quarters based in Finglas, Dublin where we have a 21,000 pallet space multi-temperature warehouse accredited to BRC and STS standard and also offer storage to some of Ireland's leading companies.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to carry out frozen, chilled and ambient food deliveries across Northern Ireland. This role involves multi-drop deliveries to healthcare, hospitality and catering customers, with an emphasis on safe driving, excellent customer service and timely deliveries.

Duties to include:

  • Complete daily food delivery routes using a Class 2 vehicle
  • Deliver to hospitals, restaurants, hotels and catering customers
  • Load, secure and unload goods
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and record any defects
  • Follow all transport, food safety and temperature-control procedures
  • Maintain delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
  • Provide friendly and professional service at each drop

Candidates must:

  • Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience in multi-drop or food distribution preferred
  • Ability to manage manual handling and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good knowledge of NI roads and safe driving practices

It is desirable but not essential that candidates have:

  • Experience in a similar role

Excellent salary and conditions available to the ideal candidate
