Long-Distance HGV Class 1 (CE) Lorry Driver

Location: Dundee, Scotland
Salary: £35,000–£50,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and professional long distance Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver to join our transport team. This role involves long-distance deliveries throughout the UK, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete long-distance deliveries and collections across the UK.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Ensure loads are secured safely and transported in line with legal requirements.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
  • Follow all road transport regulations, drivers' hours rules, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
  • Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.
  • Previous long-distance driving experience is preferred but not essential.
