HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

£53,340 OTE | Major Contract’s | Full Training Provided | Monday to Friday

Portsmouth / South East England Area

Brit European are recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to work on behalf of JCB and other major manufactures, transporting machinery and commercial vehicles across the UK.

If you're looking for a long-term, permanent driving role with excellent earning potential, a modern fleet and the opportunity to develop specialist transport skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're an experienced tramper or a Class 1 driver looking to move into specialist transport, full training will be provided.

The Role

As part of the Brit European team, you will transport machinery and commercial vehicles throughout the UK using modern tractor units and specialist low-loader/transporter equipment.

No previous low-loader experience?

No problem.

We provide full training and support to help you develop your skills within one of the UK's leading specialist transport operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Loading, securing and delivering equipment safely
  • Representing Brit European and it’s customers professionally on customer sites
  • Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible start times
  • Up to 4 nights out per week
  • Weekend overtime available at enhanced rates
  • Permanent, year-round work

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Driver CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card

· Low Loader Experience advantageous but not essential

  • No more than 6 licence points
  • No DD, DR or IN endorsements
  • Good level of fitness
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
