PROJECT SUPERVISOR
Are you interested in Structures & Pavements? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Project Supervisor, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.
As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Project Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a motivated, dependable and committed Project Supervisor to join our team. As a member of Structures & Pavements, you will be exposed to a range of unique projects across the country. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the jobs you will undertake, there is a strong possibility of working away from home, therefore high levels of flexibility are essential.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
- To supervise intrusive and non-intrusive investigations to Structures and Highways projects
- Supervise structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks
- Supervise with pavement investigations including coring, trial pits and DCP’s
- Liaison with clients
- Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
- Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance
- Maintain company profile at all times
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Willing to comply with test procedures/standards, quality and health & safety requirements
- Ability to motivate self and team members to achievement of goals
- Reliable and diligent with a flexible approach to work
- Willing to learn
- Results focused individual. Prepared to work additional hours and be able to work under pressure at times when required to meet client deadlines.

Our Structures & Pavements team perform an extensive range of testing, investigation and condition surveys across a wide range of UK Infrastructure assets including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadia in addition to building investigations across industrial, commercial and residential properties.
