*Company description* Being highly qualified independent financial planners has given us the privilege of advising on many complex cases; and these kinds of cases need time. Time to get to know our clients. Time to consult with their other professional advisers such as your accountant or solicitor. Time to formulate a suitable plan. Time to communicate this plan to them in a manner in which they are comfortable and can understand, ensuring that they can make an informed decision. But the real time is spent making sure that week on week, month on month, year on year, the plan WORKS. This is achieved by continuously considering how changes to markets, regulation, legislation and taxation affect clients. But also how the unplanned events in their life, both pleasant and unfortunate, will alter these plans. Most importantly our focus rests on how they feel about the plans they have in place and that they remain happy and comfortable with them. Simply put; it's all about the client! So rather than pigeon-holing a client into a set 'client service standard' or sticking to a rigid framework of annual reviews using generic templates as a ‘one size fits all’ solution, what we offer is different: it is bespoke to each client and open to change as their goals progress and change. Therefore, they won't see our fees based on how much they have invested. Instead our monthly retainers reflect exactly how much time they need us to spend managing your affairs and keeping their plans on track. This is the foundation of our advisory practice and our promise to all our clients as their financial planning partner now and in the future. *Job description* A Financial planner at Goals Based Financial Planning will provide clients with advice on financial matters, making recommendations on ways to best utilise their financial resources to put them on a path towards their very specific goals and objectives. They will also provide financial education to clients that will allow them to make the right decisions in times when personal or world events are difficult. There will be a variety of tasks that you will undertake in your role to help clients achieve their goals and objectives: Key tasks: * contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients’ homes or business premises; * conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision and future aims; * helping clients understand the nature of their relationship to their finances and help them make decisions in their best interest * help clients establish their goals and objectives where they need guidance * analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients’ requirements; * researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services; * designing financial strategies to help clients achieve their goals and objectives; * assisting clients to make informed decisions; * researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products; * liaising with other professionals, such as accountants and solicitors; * keeping up to date with financial products and legislation * if not already chartered work towards that professional status Reference ID: GBFP 007 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: per year Additional pay: * Bonus scheme * Yearly bonus Benefits: * Company pension * Flexible schedule * Profit sharing * Work from home Schedule: * Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: We are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure that we can keep everyone as safe as possible and prevent the transmission of Covid 19 Work remotely: * Yes
