Key Accountabilities To exercise diligence and independent judgement to promote transparent, values-led and professional management of the function whilst on shift. To act as a professional and trusted advisor to the Head of Warehousing & Dispatch Operations on all warehousing (dry stores and cold stores) and dispatch matters relating to the site whilst on shift. To utilise organisational and local MI to identify and prioritise materials to site based on local production and packing agendas to achieve organisational financial and production goals. Ensure MI is consistent, honest, open, routinely reviewed. Regular constructive engagement with, and co-ordination of, the broader teams (other sites, HSE Depts) to facilitate the local delivery of site goals. The application of financial rigor to all activity to ensure value for money for the site. Contributes and delivers Warehousing and dispatch goals and action plans to contribute to the achievement of overall site business objectives and ensures effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve this. Develops effective processes that ensure stock levels are maintained according to Company targets and that effective and decisive action is taken to avoid these targets not being achieved. Ensure robust distribution of our products to our customers on time in full utilising people to ensure all plans are robust and achieved on time, planned on time and communicated with the team in advance. Manage a culture of continuous improvement across the Warehousing and Dispatch function. Skills and Experience Required Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent) Intermediate HACCP (or equivalent) Degree level qualification in Supply 5+ years of Warehousing and Dispatch Management experience; with exposure to FMCG environments, M&S standards and being ‘audit ready’. Experience of working in Chilled and frozen environments. Knowledge of fish products, warehousing & distribution of products. Evident confidence in presentation, communication and negotiating with professional peer groups. Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures. Assist with accurate stocktaking procedures.

Input of daily stock takes and delivery notes as required.

Brief drivers accurately with customer information that will assist and improve our service offering.

Ensure round extras are picked and accurate for the rounds daily deliveries.

Ensure employees are adhering to safety procedures whilst on site.

Ensure the distribution centre cleanliness standards are to the highest levels.

Be able to operate a foodservice round.
