Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multi purpose venue, Brodens. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on organisation. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of business operations, restaurant, bar and function room.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Manage inventory control.
  • Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not essential.
