We are currently looking for a Head Bartender with a wealth of knowledge and experience to join our award winning team at Whatley Manor and support our Food and Beverage operation - Live in available for those relocating.

The role :

As Head Bartender you will bring individuality, hosting our Bar, Lounge and terrace areas, providing the warmest Whatley Welcome. You will offer a unique afternoon tea experience and provide a wide selection of food and drink options to our guests whilst leading and developing the team to deliver top notch hospitality. You will drive and maintain guest satisfaction, product quality and profitability.

We are looking for:

  • Previous experience as Head Bartender working in a luxury hotel or similar property
  • Superb guest service skills with a background of exceeding guest expectations
  • Excellent product knowledge around cocktails, wines and spirits
  • Afternoon tea experience preferred
  • Commercial acumen with a proven track record in staff training and development, product knowledge and sales
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • An engaging personality, able to communicate at all levels
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • Pride and precision in your work
